🤣 Raccoons, once introduced to the German town of Kassel by Nazi founder Hermann Göring in the 1930s, are now wreaking havoc on the local economy and terrorizing residents. 🦝💥 Göring originally brought the raccoons to the town for ecological purposes and to show off. However, a century later, their population has exploded to 2 million, causing major damage to the town’s infrastructure. 🚗💨 In Kassel, the raccoons destroy cars, kill both pets and farm animals, and even attack people. One farmer lost the use of his hand after a raccoon attack, and a woman developed sepsis. 🏚️ The German government has been unable to help, but local entrepreneurs have stepped in. They’ve begun trapping the raccoons and making sausages from them. 🍴🌭 Authorities hope this solution will reduce the raccoon population and even attract tourists with the exotic offerings. 🌍
