So proper training is the most imp thing? Distributors need solid knowledge of AIF products and risk profiles to effectively educate investors because without this, they’re just throwing darts in the dark is it?

Yeah!! That's the rule but it's not the way it happens. I hope you are from India & It's very obvious to bend the rules as per your own regulations. Example- Doctors need MBBS/BDS Certificate to set up a practice in Hospital, How many hospitals do you think were set up by Doctors? As like, There are many businesses & rules but few practice & few adjust. That's it & You are True by the way:)
