Kishore Indukuri, an IIT-Kharagpur alumnus, transformed his life by starting Sid's Farm, a successful dairy business in Hyderabad. After working at Intel in the US for six years, he returned to India in 2012 with a dream of providing fresh, unadulterated milk to consumers. He began with just 20 cows and an investment of ₹1 crore. Initially, Kishore faced significant challenges, including nearly going bankrupt. However, he persevered and focused on direct sales to customers, which proved to be a game-changer. By 2014, he had expanded his farm to include about 60 cows and started delivering milk directly to homes. This approach allowed him to build trust with customers and grow his business rapidly. Today, Sid's Farm produces around 20,000 liters of milk daily, serving over 10,000 customers and generating annual revenues of approximately ₹44 crore. Kishore emphasizes the importance of quality control; every batch of milk undergoes rigorous testing before delivery.
