Hey guys, Do you have the answer to this question: How did Meesho get the initial sellers on their platform? How did they convince them to join Meesho, and where did they find those sellers?

they targeted tier 2-4 cities which none did back then also no fees and connecting to local sellers helped meesho to grow,

Yes, Pratham, I understand, but I'm curious about how they reached out to sellers in the initial phase. The team was so small at the time, and onboarding sellers through offline meetings at their stores must have been a long and time-consuming proces

by targeting small businesses, especially women entrepreneurs and resellers, through social media platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook selling groups and by word-of-mouth and network effect.
