Workloads and deadlines may push a company forward, but at what cost to its employees? Sadly, management often doesn’t care. It’s shocking to see such conditions still exist in modern India. People call it productive to sit for 8 hours straight or work beyond regular hours. In India, outdated approaches are still valued. At one of my known company, you can't even step outside for a break, you're forced to stay on-site, where there aren't even basic facilities like a café or canteen. Some see this as productivity, but a few understand the importance of avoiding micromanagement and giving employees freedom 'we’re not in school anymore Rest in peace, "Anna."
