the way i think of it is- go back to the covid times, the ones which didn't get replaced by the digitization/AI storm were the same old hard services, given that they are delivered with professional efficiency. People could only cut their own hair because they didn't have to appear in public. Other than this medical services, logistics, workforce etc couldnt be discontinued altogether. Having said that, i do agree with all the questions you have raised here. The service industry in India struggles to get its due recognition because of intangible contribution, may be.

that's a good assignment and clear point. but it only happened once in a lifetime. After that you forget their service again!. (like a passing cloud).
