Hey all, I have an idea to launch a qr code order management for restaurant and then integrate it with POS and thus by reducing the hassle mainly in the self service category restaurants. Actually current available companies are purely service company but we are building a product based on this so we will have a large database for the 2nd phase. In the second phase we will launch online delivery platform which will implement less commission rates from restaurants thus enable the end user to get foods lesser than in any other platforms currently available. What do you think about this idea? Should we able to penetrate the current market?

Integrating QR codes with POS systems is a solid idea, but the challenge will be compatibility with existing POS systems that restaurants already use. Not all of them will be willing to change their tech for a new player unless it’s super smooth and cost-effective.

delivery giants like Zomato and Swiggy have deep pockets. Competing with them on pricing alone could be tricky unless you have some serious cash to burn for the initial phase.
