Can anyone tell if private label brand building for cosmetic products needs any type of licence or registration? Only what I know is a trademark and GST number is required.

Just to add to what you already know—yes, a trademark and GST number are essential, but a cosmetics manufacturing license from the State Drug Controller is a must if you’re producing in-house. If you’re going for organic or herbal products, there’s additional certification required, like the AYUSH license for Ayurvedic products.
