The JV has been approved by Competition Commission of India and anti-trust authorities in the EU, China, Turkey, South Korea & Ukraine.

An App Developer from Delhi bought the JioHotstar domain (before the merger) and wants Reliance to fund their higher studies from domain sale.
Reliance is yet to react to the request made.
