Imagine giving 10,000 hours to one craft, you will master it for sure. Imagine giving only 6 hrs a day for it and that too only on weekdays vs 12 hrs all days a week. The gap between acieveing that 10k hrs is phenomenal. Of course, luck has a big part to play.
