All he did was break down. First you should have clear plan of what you want. Break it down and generate small chunks of code. Test code immediately. Repeat. If you hae design you directly feed the screenshots to speed up the process

They much have used the Artificial feature of Claude AI. I have tried it and converted screenshots to functional interface. But to connect everything up in huge application like creating full video editor might be difficult but possible with proper planning. Database is something I did not figure out yet which is important part to make big working projects.

You have to first breakdown the whole project into multiple tasks. And tell claude or gpt to write code for that task. Than your job is to test the the code, connect db, etc. and than moving to next step

So video editor is a huge application has many features, so first he broke down big task into smaller ones, one feature at a time probably I think for breaking down also he used AI to give him feature list. Just like in programming we build feature step by step which turns into a commit by commit reference
