I'm new to python, but, is it just me or python is fragile? Random things breaking down out of nowhere. Some dependencies need you to install binaries on your system to work. And needing to use poetry for lockfiles is just crazy.

Fragile isn't the word I'd use, but there's definitely a learning curve. Have you tried using virtual environments? They can help with dependency issues
