How hard is it to get pre-seed funding in India? I don't have any resources but I do have an EXECUTIONABLE idea ;) We will have to make a full fledged app to actually start operating our startup. The cost of can be go upto 70-80k. Me and my co-founder have started researching and will complete our pitch deck by August last week. We will be competing with giants but we have this feeling that we might be able to pull this off. I request everybody to put their inputs on how we can actually convince VC firms to put their time and resources into us and what all should we keep in mind while preparing our pitch deck? (Also, we are currently searching for a HUNGRY Technical Cofounder based out of Delhi. He should be proficient in full stack development with an overall good portfolio. (Undergrads preferred, kyunki mai khud ek hu ;)

First of all company incorporarion will only cost you around 50k, then development fees, ad cost, setup cost etc etc how did you calculate 80k

Keep everything simple, be a salesperson, sale your idea to VCs. Tell them what problem you are solving, describe the problem, make the believe that the problem is very real, after they understand problem pitch your solution (as a superhero entry in movies).

If the requirement is that less better go with family and friends or an angel who is interested in the idea. You will need a well rounded team, a good pitchdeck, some sort of a mockup and clear grip on the market and your idea to go to a VC. Even with that preseed will be a hard sell to a VC. Also VC funds even when committed take time with all the formalities and due diligence. Better go with some acceletors who fund pressed ideas. Goodluck!
