Recently came across an video by abhi and niyu and here's my thoughts as a son of farmer that why agriculture income shouldn't be taxed: The agritech industry would suffer if farmers were taxed, similar to the impact on companies like Adani Ashirwad Aata and Reliance. Large FMCG corporations heavily rely on raw crops for processing and distribution. Taxing farmers would ultimately increase costs for consumers in urban areas, creating a lose-lose situation for all parties involved in the supply chain. The government risks losing votes, farmers face unpredictable tax burdens due to fluctuating crop prices, conglomerates experience higher procurement costs, and consumers face increased food prices. This analysis provides a clearer understanding of the complexities surrounding the taxation of farmers in India compared to watching a lengthy video. So at the end all the burden will be on the end consumer & at an average farmer will pay tax in every 4 or 5 year due to low production before
