If they have the caliber to raise $2.5 million and the domain is crucial to their brand, I believe they made the right decision. Taking financial risks can sometimes lead to great business success in the future.

Bro there brand name is Friend and they had to take the domain which is Friend.com In any cost they would probably buy. Agar abhi nhi liya toh toh kabhi brand visibility nhi banegi aadhe log sirf naam padke aate hain fir uske baad product se related

I agree with you, but the reality is that in the US, anything can be built and sold to the public. Personally, I don't think this is a good product, as I've seen their product video and details. From a business perspective, the domain name reflects their brand I believe that's why they bought!!
