This industry is so interesting, especially the products. I'm mot sure about Turkey's position as an exporter of defence products to the USA but what I know is, Turkey sells a lot of defence products to the USA. I, myself have registered about 15 trademarks for Turkish companies in the USA wrt to defence products.
