Hi everyone, I'm a student looking to start a business. I've noticed that vegetables at wholesale market (which is near my house ) are priced at around 20 Rs/kg, while the same vegetables are sold outside the market for 40 to 70 Rs/kg. I'm considering starting a business related to this, such as a supply business or something unique. I would love to get suggestions from all of you about the best business opportunity in this context. Thank you! 🙏

Bro that's really great idea and definitely you should start this ,if you're getting vegetables at this price range so firstly you need to setup direct contact with vegetables supplier , you can contact in your mandi then fix a rate of every vegetables for a month , buy stocks in bulk then create a logistics model you can contact truck drivers then create a cold storage or any central godown where you organise everything then make a team and instruct them about how supply works also for order you can directly approach restuarant and hostels even you can do gorilla marketing for attracting high income people then organise everything and enjoy your dish.

Since you are a student and are starting fresh, lets go the covid marketplace way. Since you already found your niche now let's start the way to actually market it. 1. Don't start with investing all together on it, understand if there is a need for the niche amongst your targets. 2. Setup a pricing structure, the pricing should involve your product cost, handling, profit. Make sure to compare your pricing with other similar providers 3. Your USP for your local commmunities would be the fresh produce so make sure to promote that. 2. Setup a WhatsApp group, print flyers share them across apartment communities and other WhatsApp channels. 3. Take orders on WhatsApp for the next day early morning delivery and you can run a business out of it.
