Hi, I am a 23 year old MBA in Marketing and Business Ananytics. currently working in a good fintech company in sales department its been 2 months idk there is alot of pressure and i am not for this field. I have keen interest in everything tech be it coding, digital marketing, data analytics(i know they all dont come in the same bucket) i use to work as freelancer graphic designer/video editor . I use to freelance during my mba and internship and now i am stuck in a sales job now i want to shift to a tech job i am ready to give time to learn with my job can you help me if it is a good idea or not and how can i plan this and select a field for my self.

Go for suitables in your Degree and start learning for tech from online sources, don't for 0 to 10, cause coding and data Analytics need advance skill or atleast level 7-8/10 why ? In 10 months tech is gonna change rapidly It's no more c, and Java it's evolving like anything and for digital marketing, your MBA is enough, tho try online sources and learning platforms

To transition, focus on building technical skills relevant to your target role. Create projects that showcase these skills. Your MBA and sales experience will be a differentiator. Also, your age is an advantage - you're young enough to make a career switch without it seeming odd. Start applying to roles now, even if you don't feel 100% ready. The job description is often a wish list, not a must-have list.

Have you considered going back to freelancing, but with a tech focus? Your graphic design and video editing skills are a great foundation. You could transition into UX/UI design, which is very much in demand in tech. Or, you could specialize in tech-focused content creation.

I'd suggest leveraging your degree rather than starting from scratch in a purely technical role. Look into Product Management - it's a field that requires both business acumen and technical understanding. Your MBA, sales experience, and interest in tech make you a good fit. Start by learning the basics of software development processes, user experience design, and data analysis. Read books on product management and take online courses. Your graphic design skills will be useful in creating product mockups. Network with product managers on LinkedIn and attend tech meetups. This path allows you to be involved in tech without needing deep technical expertise immediately.
