Why do you think there are no innovative boat, ship, yacht companies in India ? It's such a huge market, our country's 2/3rd borders are filled with water.
When I enquired a fisherman he said his vessel cost about 30 Lakhs, i could see hundred of them stalled in the port. When manufacturers are so into cars and bikes, why not a boat ?
