In terms of money, consuming and as a part of lifestyle. Yes it's overrated for middle class and even rich. As coffee is not a monthly consuming thing. It's a daily consuming thing. People drink nearly 1 to 2 cups of it daily. If you see in terms of money and it is not even a thing for middle class and even rich. It's is only for super rich and HNIs. For an avg person things should be seen in a way of value + cost. But not as a fame. Fame is only for super rich and rich. That is the reason iPhone, Starbucks and some over priced clothing brands exist.
