2/3 And thus by developing such a strong tech and backend these Quick Commerce companies are able to deliver in 10 mins ⌛ 2) Quick Commerce started to meet the daily urgent grocery needs of the consumers and even they didn't think that the consumers behaviour will shift so quickly that now they have to keep even bulk packing of many products as people have started ordering bulk requirements too through Quick Commerce due to convenience it offers even when they don't give any big discounts. 3) Now they are not only limited to groceries but as per their searches, consumers need bedsheets, mobiles and what not in 10 mins📱, which they didn't even think would ever happen. But now they have started offering electronics and other home products too offering around 10,000+ SKUs through a single dark store which a General Trade shop can't even imagine of to have such a wide range of SKUs. 3/3 Will share my recent experience, my phone's charger stopped working and I had less than 10% battery remaining in my phone and when I checked the price for the charger on Blinkit vs Flipkart, I was shocked to see that I was getting the same charger at lower price and in just 10 mins than waiting for days to get it through Flipkart 😮 Although it was delivered in 20 mins 😅, still worth it. And if you are getting it at the same price and in just 10-20 mins, why would you order through E - commerce or go to any Modern Trade or General Trade store to get it which makes me feel that this can be the end of Modern Trade stores like Dmart. One interesting fact which makes me think this is Zepto is now doing an Annualized revenue of around 10k Crs, and Dmart is at 50k Crs and as per Zepto Founder Aadit Palicha they will be able to breach this mark in next 2-3 years itself and target 2.5 Lakh Crs of revenue in the next 10 Years which is humongous.
