Paypal Alternative - Wise/Transferwise Hi there! Since many of you must have already read my Paypal post yesterday and have already learned most of the pros and cons of working with Paypal. I would like to introduce you to an alternative for you to receive payments. Wise.com previously known as Transferwise. I stumbled upon it when one of my clients was recommending me to accept Western Union as a payment method, the issue with Western union was for me to actually visit an outlet to get the money, while Wise was a instant deposit to my bank account. A rough estimate of the fee structure: If the sender sends you $100 there will be a charge of 7.64 USD which will be debited from the original $100 so you will receive $92.36 which will be converted to INR and be deposited to your bank. I had an ICICI Bank account and the money used to be deposited to my account within 48 hours.
