I recently faced an issue at a Union Bank ATM. While I was depositing 49k INR, the machine suddenly shut down due to a power cut. My money was taken into the ATM, but it wasn’t credited to my account. Since the ATM was just outside the bank, I immediately informed the bank manager, who assured me they would resolve it within three days. It’s now been nearly a week, and despite following up 3-4 times, I keep hearing that the issue will be fixed "tonight," yet there has been no progress. what should I do now? If you faced this situation help me 🙏🏻

Consider reaching out to the Banking Ombudsman if you don’t see movement soon; it’s their job to handle unresolved bank complaints fairly and promptly

Every bank has a nodal officer or grievance redressal officer. Check Union Bank’s website, find the contact info, and escalate the issue. They usually have more authority and can push things along faster

I think sometimes it helps to escalate by filing a formal complaint with the bank’s grievance cell or contacting customer support directly through their helpline.

Go back to the bank and file a written complaint. Verbal requests won’t get you far sometimes. Banks are more responsive when they have a formal complaint on file, plus it’s better for your records if things escalate.
