I am not fully apposing this, but the fact is that , the government observe which sector is growing and if their is further scope then apply GST to it..... The ex. for this are Crypto Currency, Stocks and Investment and now the Regular most important thing for living "Water".

The central government has collected GST of ₹ 1.82 lakh crore in November 2024. This GST collection is 8.5% more than the GST collection in November last year. In November 2023, the government has collected GST of ₹ 1.68 lakh crore.
