Do you remember Nokia 3310 - the indestructible phone? Nokia was the king of phones between 1998 to 2011 (14 years) but it has now disappeared from the market. So what exactly webt wrong with this giant? In late 2000s there was a shift from featured phone (keypad) to smart phone, Samsung brought Android phones and apple brought IOS phones but Nokia stick with its "Symbian OS" When Nokia realized that its Symbian OS was failing then it do switched but not on Android instead they went on "Windows OS" all this led to the downfall of Nokia. Nokia's peak revenue was once when the company generated approximately €74.63 billion (around $103.9 billion USD at that time) and now Nokia reported net sales of €4.67 billion, making a 19% year-over-year decline. Despite the revenue drop, Nokia achieved a comparable operating margin of 12.8%, which is 8.2% compared from the previous year. For 2024, Nokia projects a comparable operating profit between €2.3 billion and €2.9 billion. Thank You.
