They're now independent. because of backward integration, they don't need anyother third party to do their work. So, chances are now less for a new commers to gain a deal with them. Because of this, big players can gain market because, when they approach the vendors who needs semiconductor product, then there are high chance that they'll close the deal because they are big corporation with huge capacity.
