How byte dance has been successful in numbing the Gen-z minds with tiktok! ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, has influenced Gen-Z globally through its app's short-form content. TikTok's counterpart in China, Douyin, however, focuses on educational, cultural, and inspirational content to benefit Chinese youth. This variation in content raises concerns about ByteDance's strategy, as Douyin promotes growth and discipline, while TikTok contributes in mindless scrolling and crass trends. Despite bans and criticism, TikTok and it's clones have been successful in bringing down our thinking capability.
