But how can anyone make a platform around a payment mechanism. Think about a society when cheque book system came for the first time. How could someone thought of building a business around it. I guess, UPI is just an ease, and not a trait or technology. Another way to say this is - now it is possible to deliver on all pincodes across India. How can Ambani, Adani build a business around it? They cannot. It is a function of any company or business to deliver goods or receive payments from customers. You can leverage it, but cannot bulild a business around it. Though Ambani has a greater chance to leverage than Adani, because former has more B2C businesses than latter.
