Welcome to OUT OF THE BOX MARKETING ! EP = 17 (Nike) "This is one of most successful and great marketing campaign in the History" Read this out .... Nike lost the 2012 Olympics sponsorship bid to Adidas. Furthermore, there were many restrictions for non sponsors. So, they approached 4 different tactics, all of which are really genius. 1. They advertised in all 28 cities named London except the real London at U.K. People believed Nike was the sponsor of the London Olympics. 2. They purchased every single billboard around the Olympic arena and advertised Nike. 3.They sent fans with Nike flags into the stadium. 4. Instead of employing athletes to promote their brand, they created the "FIND YOUR GREATNESS" campaign to inspire non-athletes to achieve their goals. Like and follow for more ;) & Was this campaign Great by Nike? (Thanks to Havish for this recommendation 💖)
