Calculate Degree of threat. Don't think in terms of direct competition or indirect competition. We can calculate Degree of threat by analyzing the adaptability matrix of the competitor company.

That's one way to look competitors. But for now my question was to how one can identify competitors direct, indirect or by degree of threat
