I'm not a corporate hater but I think micromanagement can really get to a person. I know how it feels and it is something that I would ever want to experience again. Infact its the reason why I have my own business because hey, no matter how much you paint micromanagement as being professional, it makes you lose yourself in the process. You always think you are never enough and you are always trying to "prove" yourself by overworking yourself to burnout. I know the point of views are different on this one but I don't think any Job or Internship should be at the cost of doubting yourself. I hope y'all have a nice day :)

As long as I have been a manager, I make it a point to avoid micromanaging. I hire people for their skills and trust them to do their jobs. It’s incredible how much more productive and happy they are when given that trust.

I totally get where you're coming from. I've been in jobs where micromanagement was the norm, and it was draining. Finding a manager who trusts you is soo important.

Micromanagement is mostly because of lack of trust and poor communication. If you are in any position to, keep clear goals and expectations can help eliminate the need for constant oversight. Let people do their jobs ffs!!

While I understand the frustrations with micromanagement, sometimes it's necessary, especially in roles with high responsibility and accountability. It’s about finding managers who know when to step back.

I think Medial is a good application but you can't compare LinkedIn .. and i love the media It is a new innovation by India... I was seeing a post about this a few days ago, where some people declared LinkedIn or Medial to be the same application.
