Hey everyone, I'd like your honest thoughts on something I've noticed. It seems like Indian AI startups are often copying ideas from Silicon Valley, rebranding them, and then securing substantial funding. For instance, take Mockey.ai. This trend appears to be common across various sectors, and AI is no different, especially since most of the research is happening overseas. Do you think this is beneficial for the Indian AI ecosystem? What are your views?

👀 Blindly copying Silicon Valley-style accelerator models doesn’t work in the Indian entrepreneurial ecosystem. A homegrown approach relevant to India’s context is essential. This approach neither works for startups. 🙅

Most VCs fund what’s safe, trendy, and already proven in the West. Is Indian venture capital enabling innovation or just outsourcing conviction to Silicon Valley?

The hype in Silicon Valley is louder — but the hum in India is sharper. 🚀 “Arivihan just bagged $4.17M from Prosus to build an AI tutor for Bharat.” Not Bay Area kids. Tier-2 and tier-3 students, scribbling notes under a single bulb. ✍️ The insigh

Silicon Valley is shaking. So, Deepseek has now reached No 1 spot on the App Store beating Chatgpt. A “side-project”, with $6M against a company worth multiple billions. It’s Open Source and 95% cheaper too. The AI bubble is bursting and the moat
