Some of the IITians opt for the higher studies while some for civil services or some follow their passion instead of working for more than 8 hrs in a corporate. Having a tag of IIT lead the first step easier than the others. As the population increases, competition too increased. Some people have the misconcept regarding the package number. They think it a person get 1cr package then 1cr/12 how much money he/she is earning per month while some for family, society. From the starting, childern are teach that doing engineering going into IIT made their life.
