I agree, most of chat bots are kind of talking to the data base, but yeah they are good at reasoning but not really that much. They are really good at extrapolation cuz of the large training data but not really good at distillation if you are expert in one topic and ask it to summarise no matter how many time you try it gives the same boring content that don't involve main points
