Sorry for the late reply. You've raised an amazing point . To tackle this, we partner with nursing students, medical / dental interns initially with appropriate background checks . We also are trying to have an arrangement with hospitals wherein these companions are people from the staff inside the hospital itself once the patients are present in the premises. For home visits , team of nursing staff and medical interns or junior doctors are the first priority. The volunteers are only for emergencies where people around the patient who have volunteered can step up to assist till there is an ambulance or an appropriate medical response. Does this solve your doubts? I would love to hear your feedback on this as well and how we can earn your trust as a user

Getting professionals is an amazing idea. When someone hears the people are from the hospital, that's a relief. To make it more trustworthy, you can share the details of the people who are taking care of the patients with the family members. To make it even more trustworthy, try a feature where they can see the patients live. Like a cctv thing or some technology where they can keep an eye over the patient till they reach hospital. So when you do all this and when you advertise about this, the chances of the user feeling that he's having more control increases and because of that he will consider to get your service cause there is transperancy. This will also ensure that no crime takes place as the volunteers are under the watch so they will be careful to not commit any mistakes and if they did, you will have proof to hold them accountable. So it's a win win situation according to me.
