Ganda Dhanda (2/20) Boat and Hammer In Shark tank S1, Rohit pitched his company called Hammer Lifestyle in Shark Tank. It was a direct competition to Boat which sold products like Headphones, Speakers and electric toothbrush. Rohit had asked a 10 crore valuation with a 80 Lakh monthly sale. He got an offer from Aman to buy out the company for 1cr which was later reduced to 1cr for 40% (which he accepted). But the condition was that he will have to stop everything and limit to selling Electric Toothbrush. So while it looks a great deal, but it wasn't. All what Aman wanted is to kill Hammer. But that didn't happen. I don't know that was Aman's deal accepted later, but what we know is that not only Hammer's sale tripled but they also launched 7 more SKUs. So Yeah. This was yet another tactic for big companies to kill their competition (which didn't worked here). So take this into account before fund raising. What do you think of this about this?
