Your idea resonates with me so well. Since it's a software company, I think it's definitely possible, if we can get the work done. I read the book 'Rework' where it expresses the idea of keeping the company 'light'. Which means have 'Less' no. of 'Valuable' people in your team who actually believe in the Why, What and How of your business. These initial people, having a similar mindset as yours will be 'willing' to work for hours with you and this will shape the company culture. I think getting the work done is not hard, finding the right set of few people is.
