Taking reviews from earlier post, here's an update to that idea. How about creating a complete marketplace of renting goods, where everyone can rent out their items which they don't use and also if they don't want it in near future and also who wants those item for short period of time can rent it from them. Now again many complexities arises here like - 1.how to handle potential fraud cases like not returning the item, damaging the iteam Or returning another similar item? 2. What if both owner and renter trades outside of the app , or indirectly after dealing for first time on app? Note : This is different idea from previous one PS: Follow for more updates...

Marketplaces always struggle with the chicken-and-egg issue when starting out. You'd likely need to bootstrap the supply AND demand side by targeting a specific user base or local community first before scaling wider.

You could look at implementing blockchain-based systems to track item ownership and rental histories immutably. Though integrating that is its own technical/UX challenge for a P2P marketplace.

I get the convenience factor, but would people really want to constantly rent out their personal belongings to strangers? Maybe if the platform facilitates rentals between social connections first before expanding.
