I don't buy into these dystopian AI apocalypse scenarios. If we can develop AGI, we can absolutely encode it with robust ethics and instructions to ensure its capabilities are used to benefit humanity as a whole rather than be a threat.

Yes ethics can be created similar to way that are created for cyber crime, but is there no cyber crime. We can build rules but what's the guarantee nobody will misuse it. And the threat is not to one person or money, it's about whole humanity.
