For Last 1 year, I have been facing issue in tracking my apartment security watchman. Received complaints that he is not patrolling regularly and roaming out during duty timings and not punctual due to which there were some security breach. Solution: I designed and developed Security tracking mobile application which tracks his duty timings and geofence, screentime during duty time, instant notifications beyond designated boundary during duty timings. Instant SOS and Safety alerts integrated. This helps where a person physical presence is mandarory and activities are important.

An app like this could be a double-edged sword though. While it promotes accountability, it could also breed a culture of distrust between employers and employees right off the bat. I wonder if there are ways to gamify it or implement it more collaboratively? As you might also understand that these people are only human, and sitting at a place for 12 hrs straight is impossible. they live away from their families as well.

I can see the practical benefits, but I also have some privacy concerns. Monitoring an employee's location and screen time usage feels like a potential overreach, even if it's for a legitimate purpose during work hours. There needs to be clear disclosure and consent. Slippery slope and all that.
