OpenAI spent millions if not billions developing and training LLMs. Same is for Google, Microsoft and Meta.. the only difference being they are releasing their LLMs now after the craze of AI is at its peak. But I don't understand how companies like Krutrim is doing so. They are literally few months old. When did they make and train their LLMs? Or are they just ChatGPT wrapper?

we are doomed. The Chinese are adapting Western LLMs to suit their needs, in addition to building their own. Meanwhile, our own software giants have yet to develop an Indic operating system based on Linux. https://www.perplexity.ai/page/chinese-mil

It’s crazy how everyone is the hero of their own life, which means there are billions of movies running in parallel, some hits, many flops, but all definitely unscripted.

Will LLMs lead to AGI? Open ai thinks so. Yan Lecun says they are a deadend in the quest for AGI. So which is it? Then how can we create AGI?

Will we witness a golden age where humans reach their peak potential with the help of AI, or are we headed toward World War IV, fighting with sticks and stones?
