The main thing is our products and comapnoea are much related culture, tradition and our believe system. But most of the foreign products are just value, ethics and superiority based. Why would a foreigner even buy ours over a value based one. Until he wanted to explore or get to know about our product. After all people don't care much about company and more, they always prefers either value, premium or useful one

The answer to your question I think we are still studying the big players in all industries We have been in our own legs for only less than a century We are learning their strategies plans the things they got backfired We are still in school level But we are improving Give sometime We will be the players and we too will have students following us

India has a large population and catering to the Indian population in the initial stage is indeed advantageous as • easier research and implementation of services as you know the ground reality • Indians know how to evaluate the best product in the best price. Launching your product initially in India will be a test from the point of view from the consumers whether your idea is fit for the market. • India has a gold mine of data which if analyzed and optimized carefully, can reap great returns in the future. Data is the new gold. • It's a better idea to scale or extend services globally once you have caught a strong hold in a particular area, starting from a single city to state and eventually the entire country. India has a lot of opportunity right now and we, the people of the startup community are fortunate to be living in the appropriate time to make something big. Well from historical point of view We were oppressed by Foreign rule since centuries which not only effected our country economically by also psychologically. It was Unfortunate that when Our greatest University (Nalanda) were destroyed by foreign Invaders in 12th century at same time golden era were rising in west and New University (Oxford) were established. Also Our enterprises were completely destroyed by Britishers and we relied on passive jobs for Our livelihood.

Just safe playing attitude with life and career which makes entrepreneurs to constrain to country market only !

In my opinion, If we want our Country to lead in Global market then we have to encourage our school going students for " innovation and entrepreneurship ".

The main thing we Indians don't focus on research, countries like US they tend to focus more on research, that's why they are ahead of us in terms of innovation, more patents are getting registered in US but that's just opposite in india

That's totally true. Even I think about this a lot many times and the answer to that is 1) Firstly india didn't did innovation that even others can use (most a copy) 2) companies like ZOHO are widely used but there are b2b so we don't about them 3) we still like international brands

Whereas more than 25% of rockstar games is indian, amongst many other gaming giants. The rest you ask? These people are getting trained on Job as companies like krafton, and many others have forced to make an Indian subdivision of their companies. Nurturing the talents is where we generally are failing, for example there is practically no school in india teaching all those game designing and the art involved, the dev part and lastly product managers, these are all brought from silicon valley.

Whatever you're saying 100% right but Indian market is the one of the biggest market in the world that's why current Indian entrepreneurs are fighting and wining this massive market first. that's why they are not expanding in other countries and soon they expand in other countries when they win this market . Indian manufacturing industry is the worst and not sustainable for now

That is very true, it is the same fear that makes us wanna not stay here and work our asses off, for that one moment which might change our lives. We choose to go for the easier position at google, while thats really great for the family, the country ends up with these kinds of issues.

A strong framework with less governance issues for founders is a must.
