I’d suggest you watch the recent podcast by nikhil kamath, you’ll understand, we don’t even have enough talent to build a shooter game yet. It’s THAT bad. Whereas more than 25% of rockstar games is indian, amongst many other gaming giants. The rest you ask? These people are getting trained on Job as companies like krafton, and many others have forced to make an Indian subdivision of their companies. Nurturing the talents is where we generally are failing, for example there is practically no school in india teaching all those game designing and the art involved, the dev part and lastly product managers, these are all brought from silicon valley.
