Was ordering food, I checked on Zomato , the same order was of 258 and on Swiggy it was 420, how can there be litteraly so much difference in litteraly same order

Was ordering a while ago and I had zomato gold on one of the accounts. Apparently food wad cheaper on the account without zomato gold with delivery. Now this isn't justifiable.

Swiggy's commissions from restaurants per order is higher than Zomato so restaurants might be keeping prices higher on swiggy than zomato to cover the commissions of each app respectively.

They use live models based on the demand and supply. I can't tell you this quick services platforms use technology that no other apps or services do. Its a very huge models and equations going in back. That is the reason always compare and buy whichever is cheaper
