Big projects take many more people bro - it take approvals at many level and so you have to do a lot of negotiations. Let say you want to start a business where you know that you have to make 10 negotiations to win a deal. Now you got successful in cracking that 9 deals and that 1 last deal does not go through - becoz of any XYZ reason and now you have to actually have to draft a new proposal and have to negotiate again with that 9 which take another large chunk of time
