Stop looking for IIT & IIM students, go for some general university passout candidates with good skill because these branded candidates either ask for equity or pay without negotiation.
How do we get into stable startups for Product Management Roles, if we aren't from IIT / IIM and without MBA ?
Lately, my experience has been HRs don't reply and people are not reachable in general for a referral.

Any Indian university degree except IIT and IIM is pretty useless outside India. So if you want to get into entrepreneurship or business, try to gain skills and knowledge and stop wasting your money on universities.
