Viral Marketing Strategy - 2 So guy's we all know that 3M is the one of the biggest sequrity and glass making company with the market cap of 50 billion dollars. In early days this company is not so popular around the world , most of the people thinks that 3M sequrity company products are not safe and reliable, so his marketing team decided to showoff his capabilities infront of whole world. The campaign was simple. Three million dollars was placed inside the advertising casing at a bus stop in Canada. The poster case was covered at the edges with a 3M product, Scotchshield, a see-through film that, when applied, makes glass stronger Company challenged public to break the glass, and if they did, they would walk away with the 3 Million dollars. Company placed camera also in bus stop for Filming public . After this everyone try with so many things but nobody is able to crack the glass and company get 5 million dollar free advertising and trust by the public and social media.
