India ranks at 111 out of 125 countries in world hunger index as of 2023. So if swiggy can fill that gap they might overtake zomato at some point. To solve this problem of hunger index they could collab with restuarants and come up with strategy that will allow leftover foods in restuarants to sell at cheaper price at certain period in a day. In this way food wastage can be reduced and consumer will be at highest utility possible.
