So, if anyone wants to do business in railways, they'll need to take either contracts by bidding or should have political and monetary support. and also, it's very difficult to earn the profits for both you and the vendors as there will be more travelling, labour efforts,etc. Anyway one bad news for you is that, railways is trying to include Zomato for delivering pre-ordered foods, they might sell at higher costs, but this might be the biggest challenge for you to be in competition with them.

Like Zomato and railway have this feature of ordering food from specific stations. It will be arrived before your train departure from that station.

Well, the idea looks amazing and interesting. When I am traveling in a train through different cities, I can order some famous item in the specific city before traveling with my train, coach and berth details. So when the train arrives in that city, I can get that item and then I can pay them.

Many vendors can sell local art and craft itoms or many things on platform, can create a chain and government should help them to succeed by taxing free.

Agra ka petha & Rasagulla near Kolkata both are available on platforms by small sellers. Apart from that In gujarat Ahemdabad I have seen people selling Khaman Dhokla on Station. But main thing is that they are not using any network, they are just selling there like they sell on other places.
