Announcement- New Update on Medial: Hello Medial community! We have rolled out a new update with the following features and fixes- 1) Bookmarks are now available for news, articles and posts and will be visible in your profile section. (Scroll to the end of posts/replies/portfolio tab). 2) You can now add upto 4 images while creating posts. 3) Post and Replies have been separated in profile section for ease of access. 4) Direct Messages are now available. The only caveats are your profile must be atleast 70% complete to be able to access them. This is done to reduce spam and ensure quality user engagement across the app. Also, you can only DM 5 new people everyday. If the other person hasn’t replied to 5 of your back to back texts, you can’t text them again until they reply you. This is to avoid spam. 5) With every post, after the replies end, there will be a recommendation section for similar posts to enhance your reading experience and discovery of similar posts. 6) Notification Read/Unread status will be highlighted in notification tab! 7) You can now see other people's followers from their profile. 8) UI has been revamped with new icons and fonts for better readability. 9) In app theme switch and dynamic theme support is available from settings section. Go to profile, click on setting icon on top right, click on theme and change! 10) Feedback and Support section has been added for quick bug resolution, any community questions or in general user feedback. Same place as theme change in point 9. 11) Shortcut to close thread and return to home has been added to elevate accessibility. A home icon will be available as you keep going deep in replies on top right which will take you back to home page. 12) Bugs like scroll position loss, images cropping have been addressed. Also note that we have only rolled out to 50% of Android users right now and by 12th April all users will have access to the new build.
